Eleanor Marie Kile

Eleanor M. Kile, 92, of New Providence, PA died Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community.She was the widow of William L. Kile, Sr. who died December 14, 2010.Born in Kirkwood, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen Whiteside Herr.
A retired registered nurse, she had been employed by Lancaster General Hospital, and several local nursing homes including Duke and Fairmount.
An avid prayer warrior, she was a member of First Church of God, Lancaster.
Eleanor dearly loved her family and enjoyed gardening.
Surviving her are 4 sons, William L. (Linda) Kile, Jr. of Bountiful, UT, James N. (Cheryl) Kile of Lebanon, Charles R. (Judy) Kile of New Providence, Jeffrey D. (Diane) Kile of New Providence; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Verna Herr, Dorothy Herr both of Kirkwood, Emily Huber of Millersville; and a brother Charles (Doris) Herr of Quarryville.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers John Herr, William Herr; and a sister Helen Herr Aument.
Funeral services will be held at Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Don Price officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the service. Interment will follow in Willow Street Mennonite Cemetery.
