Elaine M. Reynolds

Elaine M. Reynolds, age 96, formerly of Paradise, passed away in Tallahassee, Florida, on December 30, 2023. She was the wife of the late Robert F. Reynolds who passed away on December 10, 2013. She was born in Christiana, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Olaf & Ruth Hilton Murphy.

Elaine was a member of Bellevue Presbyterian Church of Gap. She was a retired seamstress. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, games, word puzzles, gospel, and Christian music. She especially loved walking in the countryside near Paradise, her many bus trips and chocolate.

Surviving is her daughter Beverly wife of Byron Spires of Tallahassee, FL, one granddaughter, Roberta Jean wife of Wesley Thigpen Jr., four great grandchildren: Jessica wife of Dalton McGhin, Nicholas Stephens, Wesley (Trey) Thigpen, III, Anabelle Thigpen and one great-great grandson Miles McGhin. She was preceded in death by granddaughter Rebecca Tranchand.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to the local Hospice in your area.

A graveside service will take place at the Calvary Monument Cemetery, 1660 Mine Road, Paradise, PA, on January 12th, 2024  at 11 am, with Pastor Robert Reid officiating.
