Edna Mae Stoltzfus

Edna Mae Stoltzfus, 85, entered into eternal rest at her residence on Friday, August 11, 2017. She was the widow of Daniel D. Stoltzfus who died December 7, 2011.Born in Nappanee, IN, she was the daughter of the late Emmon D. and Salina Hochstetler Schmucker.
Edna was a member of Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church, Quarryville, PA.
She enjoyed traveling and visiting relatives, all sorts of word puzzles, and playing scrabble with friends.She loved blowing the dead leaves off her porch and driveway and then sitting on that same porch on a sunny day to watch the birds.She always looked forward to going out to breakfast with her grandkids and the weekly Sunday dinner with the family.
Surviving her are 3 children, Ken Stoltzfus of Maryland, Kathleen Stoltzfus of Holtwood, Debra Sweda and husband Shawn Sweda of Holtwood; 3 grandchildren, Patrick Sweda, Sarah Sweda, Hannah Sweda; a sister, Mahala and her husband John Troyer; and a brother Levi and his wife Millie Schmucker, and brothers in law John Yoder, Vernon Yoder and Leroy Hochstetler.
Being preceded by her husband in death, so are the following brothers Harvey, Freeman, and Marvin Schmucker, sisters Jemima Yoder, Salina Yoder, and Malinda Hochstetler; two infant siblings, Monroe and Mary; sisters in law LydiaMae, Betty, Katie Mae, and Mary Eta.
Graveside services and interment will be held at Chestnut Level Presbyterian Cemetery, 1068 Chestnut Level Road, Quarryville, PA on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 6:00PM.In lieu of flowers and to honor her memory, please consider a donation to Hospice & Community Care, P.O.
