Edgar F. Greenleaf, 78, of Kirkwood, PA died August 12, 2015 at Lancaster General Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.
Mr. Greenleaf was born and raised in Kirkwood, being the son of the late C. Martin, Sr. and Sadie Herr Greenleaf. He was a 1955 graduate of Solanco High School.
Mr. Greenleaf held sales management positions with both J.I. Case and Field Queen corporations prior to establishing Ag-Industrial Equipment, headquartered in Rising Sun, MD, in 1976.Today, the business (now managed by his son) is a four-dealership enterprise and one of New Holland's largest dealers in the eastern territory, servicing Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey and Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Following his retirement in 2001, Mr. Greenleaf enthusiastically pursued a life-long love of classic automobiles, restoring them to show quality.
He is survived by his wife Yvonne Cramer Greenleaf, to whom he was married for 59 years; a daughter Vicki Greenleaf, wife of Bruce Faulk, and his granddaughter McKenna Greenleaf Faulk and grandson Mason Faulk, all of Los Angeles, CA; a son Terry Greenleaf, husband of Laura, and his granddaughter Amber, wife of Ryan Hudler (and great grandchildren Kayden and Novella), and Daniel Greenleaf, all of Kirkwood, PA; a sister Anna (Ken) Skiles of Narvon, PA; 2 brothers, J. Scott (Kitty) Greenleaf of Kirkwood, PA and C. Martin (Judy) Greenleaf, Jr. of Kirkwood, PA.
Funeral Services will be held at Union Presbyterian Church, 5637 Street Road, Kirkwood, PA on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 11:00AM with Rev. Scott Szaboofficiating.Interment will follow in Union Cemetery.A viewing will be held at the church form 9:30AM until the time of service.
