Eby "Roy" Kreider

Eby "Roy" Kreider, age 78 of Gap, PA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior after 28,681 days of applying hearts for wisdom-Psalm 90:12 KJV on Saturday June 20, 2026. He was born in Lancaster, son of the late Eby and Gladys Kreider. He was the husband of Sandra Kreider.

He attended Calvary Monument Church for 46 years, graduated from Pequea Valley High School class of 1965 and attended Lancaster Bible College and studied concentrated bible. He was the proud owner of Roy’s Auto Body and retired in 1999. Previously working carpentry with Russo and McElhaney Construction.

Surviving besides his wife are 3 daughters: Tammy, wife of Jeffrey Heagy; Tricia, wife of Erick Lacock; and Tina, wife of Randy Kylar. Three sisters: Emily J. wife of James Gordley of Lampeter, PA; Margie A. wife of Ray Sherid of Willow Street, PA; Janet L. wife of David Hoffman of Rensselaer, IN, 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a stillborn brother (Dale), and 2 grandsons: Randon Joseph Kylar and Kyle Heagy.

Funeral service will take place at Shivery’s Funeral Home, 3214 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, on Thursday, June 25th at 11 a.m. with a casual greeting time from 10 a.m. until time of service. Rev. Randy Good will be officiating. A private family interment will be in the Paradise Mennonite Cemetery.
