Douglas A. Bair, age 68 of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the Lancaster General Hospital.  He was born in Lancaster, son of the late George & Arlene Shaubach Bair.  He worked in the maintenance department for Solanco School District and he also worked numerous carpentry side jobs and was very knowledgeable in his craft of carpentry.  He graduated from Lampeter Strasburg High School class of  1973.  He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, going to the mountains and oldies music.  Surviving are 2 daughters:  Angela M. wife of Michael Dunlap of Willow Street, Kelly L. Bair companion of Daniel Lucena of Lancaster, 2 grandchildren: Emily Dunlap and Austin Douglas Conrad, brother Barry husband of Carol Stauffer Bair of Strasburg and a niece Amy Morris of Lancaster.  A memorial service will take place from the Reynolds & Shivery Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA, on Thursday, November 30th at 7 p.m., with a time to greet the family from 6 p.m. until time of service.  During the service there will also be a time of sharing.  Casual dress is the preferred attire for the service.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Lancaster Conservancy (Fishing Creek) https://www.lancasterconservancy.org/donate/
