Douglas James Arment

Douglas James Arment, age 50 of Gordonville, passed away at home on Sunday, June 21, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Jodi Buckwalter Arment for 29 years. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Don and Brenda Dickel Arment of Gordonville. A graduate of Pequea Valley High School, Doug worked for 34 years for Cambridge Scale Works in Honey Brook doing industrial scale manufacturing and the last 3 years at HC Quality Doors in Gordonville. He was an avid sportsman and loved being outdoors riding his motorcycles and going to the lake or the beach to go boating and water skiing. He also loved flower gardening and spending time with his friends shooting darts and throwing quoits. Most importantly, he loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and spending time with his family. Surviving besides his wife and parents are 3 daughters; Cassidy, wife of AJ Toomey, Megan Arment and Sarah Arment, all of Gordonville, a grandson on the way, Isaac James, a sister; Beth, wife of Mike Rich of Leola and their children, Lance and Halie, parents-in-law; Larry and Mary Jane Sandoe Buckwalter of Honey Brook, 2 sisters-in-law; Jennifer, wife of Stanley Graybill and their children, Destiny, wife of Clayton Mirage, Paxton, Jalynn and Landon of New Holland and Jennette, wife of Scotty Bahn and their daughter, Shea of Honey Brook and 3 bonus children, Josephine, Jana and Timmy. 

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Doug’s honor to Hospice and Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
