Dorothy M. Kreider, 82, of Hidden Green, Lancaster and formerly of Strasburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Landis Homes.
She was the wife of Kenneth H. Kreider.Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Martha Miller Ranck.
For many years she worked at the Farmer's Market in Germantown, and Philadelphia on Friday's for a local market grower.
Dorothy was a member of Neffsville Mennonite Church where she taught Sunday school. She was also a member of Farm Women Society #28, the Conewago Ski Club, and 4-H Club where she taught sewing.
Dorothy was passionate about music and had a natural gift in playing both the piano and accordion. She enjoyed playing golf, bicycling, flower and vegetable gardening, and taking daily walks by the creek near her home. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, taking trips both in and out of the United States.
Surviving beside her husband Ken, are four children, James L. husband of Patricia Tollinger Martin Jr., Rodney E. husband of Paula Adams Martin, Carol M. wife of Paul E. Williams, Karen S. wife of Charles H. Schneider, Jr.; 7 grandchildren; and a sister Ruth wife of John Jacob Bare.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James L. Martin.

A memorial service will be held at Neffsville Mennonite Church, 2371 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, PA on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 11:00AM with Pastor Hunter Hess officiating.A visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 6:00PM-8:00PM. Private traditional burial will be in Strasburg Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dorothy's memory to Black Rock Retreat, 1345 Kirkwood Pike, Quarryville, PA 17566.
