Dorothy L. Herr

Dorothy L. Herr, 87, of Quarryville, PA, passed away February 17, 2017.She was the widow of the late John C. Herr who passed away in 1988.
Born in Strasburg Township, a daughter of the late Chester and Anna Mowrer Geib.
Dorothy was a lifetime member of Zion United Church of Christ, Strasburg.She enjoyed bowling, fishing, her roses, playing pinochle and making homemade candy.
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Dorothy is survived by 3 children, James M. (Penny) Herr, Trevor, WI, Nancy L. (Scott) Boyd, Holmes Beach, FL, Brenda K. (Gary) Rinier, Lakeland, FL, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, brother, Richard (Charlotte) Geib, New Danville, PA, and her special friend, Donna Becker.Dorothy was predeceased by 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral service from Reynolds Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 with Reverend Dr. James Haun officiating.Burial will be in Zion U.C.C.
