Dorothy Hansen

Dorothy Hansen, 85, of Quarryville peacefully passed into the arms of her Savior and Lord Jesus on September 14, 2020.  Dorothy was the wife of the late Gerald Hansen.  Dorothy was a homemaker until her children were older, she worked for San Diego City Schools and later worked at a bingo hall in Pahrump, Nevada.  She moved to Pennsylvania in 2012 with her daughter and son-in-law.  In her free time, she loved watching baseball, football and ice hockey.  She also loved to crochet, read and do plastic canvas.  She is survived by three daughters: Deborah, married to Stephen Burnham of Quarryville,PA;  Kim, married to Greg Naour of Santee, CA and Stacy Hansen of Kahului, HI.  She is also survived by 8 grandchildren:  Stephanie Simpson, Michael Burnham, Erin Graydon, Jeffrey Naour, Kristin DuVall, Jeremy Naour, Ryan Hansen and Taylor Charles, and 9 great grandchildren.  She also is survived by 3 sisters:  Pauline Harper of Arizona, Edna Hunt of Indiana and Peggy Carrel of Texas.  She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald, her son Jeffrey, her sister Sue King and brother Harley Yoder.   She will be buried with her husband and son at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, California.
