Doris J. Rineer, 80, of Ronks, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Lancaster General Hospital.She was the widow of the late Haines E. Rineer who passed away in 2008.
Doris was a homemaker.
She was a member of Mt. Eden Lutheran Church, Quarryville.
Doris was born in Lancaster County, a daughter of the late Robert and Susan Kauffman Detwiler.
She is survived by five children; Robert H. Rineer, and wife Joy, Quakertown,Joan L. Frey, and husband C. William Frey of Quarryville, Glenna J. Ray of New Bern, NC, Sue D. Spade and husband James R. Spade Ronks, Deborah L. Moncrief and husband Charles Moncrief of Mifflintown, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and her sister, Helen Deshong of New Holland. She was predeceased by brothers; Robert, Melvin, Donald, Richard Detwiler, and sisters; Edna Donley, Evelyn Humphries, and Arlene Aument.
The Funeral Service will be held at Reynolds Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. The burial will be in Riverview Burial Park, Lancaster, PA. Visitation will be held on Friday, one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 AM.Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Lancaster Unit, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster PA 17603.
