Donna Lynn Crasten, age 61, of Gap, PA, passed away at her home on Saturday, August 10, 2024.  She was the beloved wife of Kevin Crasten, with whom she celebrated 32 years of happy marriage on Sept 14th.  She was born in Chester, PA, daughter of George & Barbara Smith Walton of Gap. In the past she demonstrated her compassion and love of others by serving in the housekeeping department at Harrison Senior Living of Christiana.  She graduated from Pequea Valley High School class of 1980.  Donna faithfully enjoyed her daily devotionals, spending time serving God, being at home with her family, and loving others in need. She had a beautiful heart that was always searching for a need to fulfill. She loved the beach and all of God's beauty that can be seen on this Earth. She is survived by her husband and parents along with 2 sons:  Nathaniel husband of Ashley Porta Blevins of Parkesburg, Jared Crasten companion of Molly Knapper of Lancaster County, sister Charlotte wife of Brian Shaub of Vermont.  She has joined her adored sister Sharon Christopher in heaven.

There will be a private event in celebration of her life at a future date. In remembrance of Donna's life and her love for those in need, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the Octorara Area Food Cupboard, 714 Main Street, Parkesburg, PA 19365.
