Donald G. Wood, age 86, of Strasburg passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Penn State Medical Center. He was the husband of Roxie Farmer Wood with whom he celebrated 70 years of marriage with. Born in Christiana, he was the son of the late John and Alice Greer Wood. Donald spent his working career painting cars. He served his country as a member of the United States Army. He was a life member of the American Motorcycle Association and a member of the Christiana American Legion. Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 children: Scott Wood of Willow Street and Teresa, wife of Jeffery Davis of Akron, OH, 2 grandchildren: Lauren Wood and Dominick Swindall, great-grandson Karter Brenner, and sister Geneva Wood of Abbeville, SC.
