Donald F. McAllister, 86, died Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at his residence in Harbeson, DE following a battle with lung cancer.He and his wife, Allen E. Armstrong McAllister were married for 65 years.Donald was born in Oxford, PA a son of the late David B. and Ethel Florence Murphy McAllister.
He retired from Pattinaro Construction Company in Wilmington, DE where he had been employed as a construction superintendent.His hobbies were hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Surviving beside his wife Allen are 3 children, Donald F. McAllister, Jr. of Newark, DE, Barry Lee (Patty) McAllister of West Palm Beach, FL, Robin Gail (Daniel) Goldfedder of Philadelphia; 2 grandchildren, Mark & Nina Goldfedder; and a brother Jack (Rosie) McAllister of Blue Ridge Summit, PA.He was preceded in death by a brother Ellsworth McAllister.
Funeral services will be held at Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11:00AM.Interment will follow in Mt.
