Donald "Hank" Lewis Gehron, Sr. age 86 of Peach Bottom, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025 at his home. He was the husband of Betty Dull Gehron for 62 years.  Born in Drumore, he was the son of the late John Henry and Hellen Good Gehron.  Hank attended Wakefield Bible Church and Wesley Church.  He worked for Andrews Excavating for many years before retiring.  Hank honorably served in the United States Marine Corps and was on the ground during the Bay of Pigs Invasion and the Cuban Missile Crisis.  In his free time, he loved hunting, fishing and woodworking.   Surviving besides his wife is a son; Richard, husband of Charlotte Winkler Gehron of Peach Bottom a grandson; Brandon, husband of Jacklyn Gehron of Peach Bottom and a great grandson Kolby Charlesen.  He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Lewis Gehron, II and 6 siblings, Ed, John, Joe, James, Elise Gehron and Barbara Carl.  A celebration of life service will take place at Wesley Network: Crossing Jordan, 7 Wesley Road, Quarryville, on Friday, October 24th at 11 a.m.  Pastors Blake Deibler and Phil Towles will be officiating.  The family would like to thank the nurses of Hospice and Community Care for the excellent care Hank received.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Hank's honor to Hospice and Community Care, P.O.
