Deborah A. Sage

Deborah A. Sage, age 72, of Peach Bottom, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 19, 2026. She was the wife of the late Robert C. Sage Sr.

Born in West Nottingham, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Virginia L. Caldwell Sheets. Deborah was a member of Wrightsdale Baptist Church and attended Wesley Church.

Deborah enjoyed her work hauling Amish in her later years. Earlier in her career, she worked for many years as the office manager for Black Bear Structures. She also enjoyed eating out and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by two children: Jeffrey, husband of Jill Sheets, and Robert Sage Jr., engaged to Tracy Heisler; two stepchildren, Wendy Chadwick and Cindy Logan; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Kenny, Glenna, and Martha.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and Sam Sheets.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
