Dean E. Kauffman

Dean E. Kauffman, age 69 of New Holland, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025 at the Lancaster General Hospital.  Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Earl Jr. and Catherine Swinehart Kauffman.  Dean worked for Lancaster General Hospital in Environmental services.  He loved watching movies and TV shows, playing the lottery and going out to eat.  Surviving is his sister in law; Patricia Ann Sellers Kauffman of New Holland and his four legged friend, Pokie.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Terrance L. "Terry" Kauffman.  A graveside service will take place at Bethesda Methodist Cemetery, 1086 Hilldale Road, Holtwood, on Friday, December 12th at 1 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Dean's honor to the Humane League of Pennsylvania, 1729 N. 11th Street, Reading, PA 19604 or to Water Street Mission, P.O.
