David S. Zook

David S. Zook, age 79, of 1669 Mine Road, Paradise, passed away at home on Friday, September 25, 2026. He was the husband of the late Mary K. Glick Zook who died May 17, 2023. Born in Gap on September 15, 1947, he was the son of the late Samuel K. and Annie Blank Zook. David was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. He is survived by 5 children: Annie B. Zook at home, Barbie G. wife of Amos K. Stoltzfus of Parkesburg, Samuel K. husband of Fannie Blank Zook, Leroy G. husband of Sadie S. Stoltzfus Zook, both of Paradise, Dora K. wife of Benuel Riehl of Paxinos, PA, 28 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 10 sisters: Fannie S. wife of Elmer K. Glick of Gap, Mary S. wife of Samuel E. King of New Providence, Barbara S. wife of Amos King of Bart, Naomi S. wife of Paul A. Stoltzfus of Leola, Anna S. wife of Reuben A. Zook, Martha S. wife of John D. Stoltzfus, Esther S. wife of Melvin E. King, Emma Sue, wife of Leon K. Stoltzfus, Ruth S. wife of John Stoltzfus, Marian S. wife of Christian Stoltzfus, all of Gap. He was preceded in death by 3 children: infant daughter, Nancy Ann, stillborn son, and son Christian R. Zook, a grandson Marlin James Riehl, a great-grandson Lee Miach Zook, and 2 siblings: Sadie S. late wife of David K. Lapp husband of Sadie Mae Ebersole Lapp of Gordonville, Leroy S. late husband of Barbara Stoltzfus Zook of Paradise.

Funeral service will take place from the home of Leroy Zook, 1716 Mine Road, Paradise TODAY Monday, September 28th at 11 a.m. EST. Interment will be in the Bart Amish Cemetery. Friends may call at the home of Leroy Zook from the time of this notice until time of service.
