David Leo Rosiere

David Leo Rosiere, 65, of Main Street, New Providence died Friday, March 18, 2016 at his residence of natural causes. He was the husband of Darlene Harris Rosiere.David was born in Arkansas City, KS, a son of the late Leo J. and Mamie Vereen Rosiere.
He was retired from Powell Steel as a welder. He graduated from Cowley County Jucco Community College.He the specialized in heliarc welding.He joined the welder's union in Wilmington, NC and went north to PA to work as a specialty welder in the nuclear power plants.
David loved the outdoors, especially fishing, animals, and raising horses.He spent many years participating in Civil War Re-enactments.
David loved to tell stories and make people laugh.he had an infectious laugh and huge smile.He was proud of his family.He will be greatly missed by all.
Surviving him beside his wife are 3 children, Jerri Lynn Crull, Heather Lee Shellinberger, Michael David Rosiere; 3 step children, Edward Bartlett, Troy Bartlett, Sherry Everline; ; 18 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; and2 sisters, Patricia Ann Brown, Gloria Jean Bahruth. He was preceded in death by a step-son Loren Everline, a sister Mary Ruth Young, and a brother James Ray Rosiere.
