David Turner Knight, 66, of Oxford, PA, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Lancaster General Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born in Chester, PA, a son of the late I. Thurston and Sarah Hunn Knight.
Dave was a farmer, trucker, and excavator for many years in Southern Lancaster County.He was an avid train enthusiast.He also enjoyed attending all of the sporting events which his sons participated in.
Dave was the husband of Elaine Galbreath Knight for 43 years.In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons; Lucas J. (Erica), Milan, IL, Zachary T. of Oxford, PA, and the love of his life, granddaughter Makenzie Ann.He is also survived by a brother, Donald T. (Cathy), VA, and a sister, Sallie Ann Emery (Robert), Doylestown, PA.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life service on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 12 PM noon, at Little Britain Presbyterian Church, 255 Little Britain Church Rd., Peach Bottom, PA. with Pastor's Thomas Milligan and Kenneth Hash officiating.Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 AM-Noon.Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to "The Helping Hands Fund", c/o Little Britain Presbyterian Church.
