David L. Esh

David L. Esh, age 47 of 815 A North Old Road, Strasburg, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024 at his home.  He was the husband of Fannie S. Fisher Esh.  Born in Paradise, he was the son of Jonathan S. and Malinda S. Lapp Esh of Nottingham.  David was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  Surviving besides his wife and parents are 7 children; Elmer F., husband of Emma Stoltzfoos Esh of Rising Sun, MD, Paul F., Elizabeth F., Mervin F., Michael F., Marcus F., and Omar F. Esh, all at home, 1 granddaughter, Laura Esh, and 9 siblings; Daniel L., husband of Katie G. Lapp Esh, Mary L., wife of John S. Fisher, both of Quarryville, Barbara L., wife of Bennie M. Stoltzfus, Elizabeth L., wife of Ammon G. Fisher, both of WI, Amos L., husband of Barbara S. Swarey Esh, Jonathan S. Jr., husband of Katie K. Blank Esh, Elmer L., husband of Malinda G. Fisher Esh, all of Nottingham, Emma L., wife of Abner G. Stoltzfus of Oxford, and Benuel L., husband of Barbara F. King Esh of Rising Sun, MD.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sadie F. Fisher, and a sister, Naomi L. Esh.

A funeral service will take place at the late home, 815 A North Old Road, Strasburg, on Thursday, February 8th at 9 a.m. Interment will be in the Bunker Hill Amish Cemetery.  Friends may call at the late home from the time of this notice until the time of service.
