D. Edward Strubel, age 74 of Ronks, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024 at his home.  He was the loving husband of Patricia Bowers Strubel for 48 years.  Born in Soudersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Ezra and Fern Russell Strubel.  He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church.  He worked as a truck driver for Keystone Pretzels, Summers Trucking and Advantage Metered Concrete where he retired.  Ed loved classic cars and watching NASCAR and drag races.  Surviving besides his wife are 3 sons; Thomas E., husband of Linda Wallace Strubel of Lititz, Dale R., husband of Amanda Crabtree Strubel of Akron and Daniel B. Strubel of Conestoga, 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 6 siblings; Jay Strubel of Lancaster, Darlene Strubel of Lancaster, Bonnie Lefever of Strasburg, Wayne Strubel of Soudersburg, Nelson Strubel of Christiana and Cheryl, wife of James Whitehead of Paradise.  He was preceded in death by 3 siblings, Marlene, Gary and Ronald.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ed's honor to St. John's United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 86, Paradise, PA 17562.
