Cora M. Trimble, 84, of 101 Groffdale Drive, Quarryville, PA died at her residence on Wednesday, October 1, 2014.She was the widow of Charles L. Trimble, Sr.Born in Colora, MD she was the daughter of the late Rome ad Clara McCall Howell, Sr.
A homemaker, she enjoyed playing cards, bingo, doing crossword puzzles, and playing with her grandchildren.She was also an animal lover, especially her dogs.
She is survived by 8 children, Wanda C. Tackett of Rising Sun,MD,Betty M. Chapman of Peach Bottom, Charles L. Trimble, Jr. of Rising Sun, MD,Mary O. Roten of Holtwood, James C. Trimble of Columbia, Lucy A. Heisler of Lancaster, Rome Trimble of Quarryville, and Grace L. Johnson of Conowingo, MD; 22 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Rome Howell, Jr., Robert Howell, and Mary Dunn.
Funeral services will be held at Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014 at 2:30PM.Interment will follow in Quarryville Cemetery.A viewing will be held from 1:30PM until the time of service.
