Colin
Reedy
December 27, 1997 – October 20, 2023
He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God. Psalms 62:6-7
Colin Reedy, age 25 of Exton, PA, formerly of Selkirk, NY, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023 as result of a vehicle accident while responding to a fire call. He was born in the Crimea Region, Ukraine, son of Brian & Tracy (Haberstroh) Reedy of Coatesville, PA. He was the partner of Emily Gindele, his great love of 5 years. He graduated from Woodlynde School in Malvern, class of 2016. He was a volunteer firefighter with the West Whiteland Fire Company, joining with Emily earlier this year. Colin worked as a Plumber for Done Right Today Plumbing out of Wilmington, DE.
You couldn't help but love him! He was an EXCEPTIONAL young man with the kindest soul, a huge heart, infectious energy and a contagious laugh. Described by ALL as caring, respectful, generous, sacrificial, giving and hard working. He was a beacon of positivity, strength and kindness. He was known to be a man of integrity with a servant's heart. The outpouring from people sharing stories of how Colin touched their lives and how he brought a level of energy and light everywhere he went solidifies a legacy that transcends the grave. He LOVED his family, Emily and their dog Chandler more than anything. He and Emily were in the process of ring hunting and his family couldn't have been more excited for them. Colin loved plumbing and was welcomed as family by his employers Ryan and Patrick. He loved the outdoors, playing with his dog, cars, and talking for hours a day with his closest friends Ben and Patrick.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters: Jordan & Addie, grandparents: Richard Haberstroh and companion Daphne Brooks of Lewes, DE, William & Marjorie (Jarvis) Reedy of Albany, NY and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his nanny Jacquie Haberstroh in 2016, with whom he shared a special bond.
