Cody R. Roark Jr., 86, of Lancaster PA, formerly of Oxford, PA, passed away on November 2, 2015.He was the husband of Julia Mae Arnold Roark.
Cody was a self-employed painter.
He had served proudly in the US Army with the rank of sergeant 1st class.He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Cody had enjoyed raising his beagle dogs, hunting and fishing.
Born in Creston NC, a son of the late Cody Raymond and Mary Belle Osborne Roark.
In addition to his wife Julia, he is survived by 2 children, Vicky Roark (Charlie), Holtwood, PA,James R. Roark Sr. (Tammy), Cabool, Missouri, grandsons; James Ray Roark, Jr., Brandon Roark, Nathan Roark, Dorian Roark, Cody Poe, siblings; Edith Dalton, VA, Louise Phillips, NC.He was predeceased by siblings; Raymond, Fate, John, Merle and Ralph Roark, Mabel Roark, Vaddie Roark, Bonnie Roark, and Imogene Farmer.
