Clyde L. Heller, Jr.

Clyde L. Heller, Jr. Age 87, formerly of Paradise, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Newport Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  He was the husband of the late Sarah L. Fisher Heller for 35 years before her passing on August 30, 2021.  Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Clyde L. and Kathryn Landis Heller.  He graduated from East Lampeter High School.  He worked as a milk delivery driver for Cream Top Dairy and then for RCA, which late became Burrell Industries.  In his free time, Clyde loved boating, water skiing, fishing, hunting, camping, golfing, horseback riding, and traveling, especially to Texas every winter and to Tennessee.  He is survived by 2 sons; David, husband of Kori, and Michael, husband of Shelby, 6 stepchildren; Elizabeth "Betty," wife of David Whitehead of Paradise, Shirley Zook of College Station, TX, Judy Kipp of York, Joan, wife of Paul Schmidt of York, Larry "Chip" Zook, Jr. of Paradise, and Lester Zook of PA, 28 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild, and 3 brothers; John L. Heller of Lancaster, Robert L., husband of Joanne Heller of Mount Joy, and Joe L., husband of Marilyn Heller of New Holland.  He was preceded in death by 2 grandsons and 2 brothers; James L., late husband of Kitty Heller of Lancaster, and Harvey, late husband of Barbara Heller of Lancaster.  Services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Interment will take place in the Pine Grove Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Clyde's honor to the Gentiva Foundation, 1891 Santa Barbara Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601.
