Clark E. Taylor, 91, of Lancaster, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 19th, 2025.  He was the son of the late Paul and Thelma (Wilson) Taylor of Red Lion, PA and was the husband of the late Mary L. (Gingerich) Taylor. He graduated from Red Lion High School in 1952 and Millersville State Teachers College in 1956. He went on to earn his Master's degree from the University of Delaware.

Clark served with the U.S. Army in the Signal Division of the Communication Service Branch as a cryptographer in Germany from 1957 – 1959 and then with the Pennsylvania National Guard until 1961. He taught mathematics at Ephrata High School for 12 years and returned to Millersville State College/University in 1968 to teach mathematics for 26 years.

Clark was an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg where he served as an elder and was on various committees. He and his wife volunteered with Meals on Wheels for many years. He was an avid gardener, hunter, and fisherman and enjoyed traveling and playing cards.

Clark is survived by his two children, Scott E. Taylor and his wife Denise (Cogan Station, PA) and Cynthia E. Taylor (Lancaster), a sister Amelia McSherry of Red Lion, and his four grandchildren and two great grandchildren who were the apple of his eye.

A memorial service in honor of Clark Taylor's well-lived life will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg, 101 South Decatur Street, Strasburg, PA 17579 on Friday, April 25th at 4 p.m. Visitation with the family will follow the service.
