Clarence G. Lefever

Clarence G. Lefever, Jr., 72, of North Fulton Street, Strasburg, PA died unexpectedly of natural causes at his residence on Sunday, September 25, 2016.
He and his wife Yvonne "Bonnie" Strubel Lefever celebrated 47 years of marriage on November 15, 2015.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Clarence G. and Edna Lefever Lefever.
A retired machinist, he worked for J.L. Clark for 42 years.
Clarence proudly served his country in the US Army. He served in Korea from 1965-66 and then joined the PA National Guard retiring with the rank of E-7.
Active in community affairs, he was a member of the Civil Service Committee of Strasburg Borough, F&AM Christiana Lodge, #417, a member of the former Strasburg Ambulance Association, and a former member of Strasburg Lions Club.
He enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, his 1965 Corvette, collecting toy tractors, and was a member of NMMTPA tractor pulling.
Surviving beside his wife Bonnie is a son Jeffrey M. Lefever of Strasburg.
Funeral services will be held at Strasburg Mennonite Church, 1514 Village Road, Strasburg, PA on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 11:00Am with Pastor John Meck officiating.Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
