Clarence Hornberger

Clarence Hornberger, age 81, of Gap, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025 at home.  Born in West Sadsbury Township, he was the son of the late Irvin and Lena Haas Hornberger.  Clarence enjoyed hunting, gardening and he loved his dog, Gidget.  He is survived by 2 siblings: Melvin husband of Ruth Burkholder Hornberger of East Earl and Joyce Canipe of Conestoga.  He was preceded in death by his son Lane W. Hornberger and 6 siblings: Betty Hornberger, Virginia Haldeman, Harold Hornberger, Herbert Hornberger, Erma Horst, and Donna Shradley.

There will be a visitation on Friday, September 5 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Shivery Funeral Home, 111 Elizabeth Street, Christiana, followed by a graveside service at Ranck's United Methodist Church cemetery, 700 Ranck Road, New Holland.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Shivery Funeral Home, 111 Elizabeth Street, Christiana, PA 17509 to help the family with funeral expenses.
