Clair Samuel Blank, age 85, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Garden Spot Village. He was the loving husband of Evelyn L. (Dillman) Blank for 60 years. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Amos and Annie Lapp and a graduate of Octorara High School. He was a former member of Ridgeview Mennonite Church and currently worshipped at The Community Church at Garden Spot Village. Clair was a manufacturing supervisor at Case New Holland (formerly Sperry New Holland). He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling with friends, watching the Phillies, and playing card games.

Surviving besides his wife are two children: Gwendolyn, wife of Richard Fellenbaum of New Holland, and Gary, husband of Kelly (Weiss) of Winchester, Massachusetts; four grandchildren: Alex and Adam Fellenbaum and Samuel and Ian Blank; and five siblings: Rebecca Stoltzfus of Intercourse, Naomi Glick of Lititz, Elam "Bud" Blank of Parkesburg, Paul Blank of Bird-in-Hand, and Anna Sauder of New Holland. He was preceded in death by four siblings: Esther Smoker and Ira, Ruth and Alvin Blank.

A funeral service will take place from the Chapel of Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Ave, New Holland, PA 17557 on Monday, July 21 at 11:30 a.m. There will be a time of visitation at the chapel on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in the Ridgeview Mennonite Cemetery.
