Christine Ann Herbig of Lancaster, PA passed away from cancer on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at the Hospice care Center in Mt. Joy, PA.  She is survived by a son Kyle of York, PA and a brother Neil Herbig who lives in New Jersey.  Christine was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Geraldine Herbig.  When Kyle was ten years old they moved to Lancaster County, PA. She worked in various dental offices and as a retail manager.  She graduated from Edison High School in Edison, New Jersey and held a certificate in dental assisting. She also enjoyed pet sitting for her neighbors.  At one time she attended St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Strasburg, PA.  Christine adored her cat, "Bert." She enjoyed astronomy, camping, and liked being outdoors.

Her sole son, Kyle has intentions of honoring her with a memorial service at a later date.  Kyle would like to thank the care teams at Lancaster General Health and Hospice of Lancaster County for taking excellent care of his mother during her last days. He would also like to thank his friends and co-workers for their support.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Christine's honor to Shivery Funeral Home, 111 Elizabeth Street, Christiana, PA 17509 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
