Charles D. Pannell, 56, of Daisy Drive, New Providence, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 1, 2015. He and his wife Debra M. Lupold Pannell were married for 37 years. He was born in Lancaster, the son of Doris J. Shank Pannell of New Providence and the late Frank G. Pannell.
Charles was a self-employed independent truck driver.He served his country in the US Army. His enjoyments were horseback riding, his pet chickens, butchering and catering.
Surviving beside his wife and mother are 3 children, Charles D. "Bud" (Crystal) Pannell, Jr. of Gettysburg, Victoria A. (Scott) Meekins of Columbia, Zachary D. Pannell of Quarryville; 6 grandchildren; 5 siblings, Sharon (Alvin) Miller of Lititz, Frank (Sharon) Pannell, Jr. of New Providence, Gordon (Esther) Pannell of Lititz, Esther (George) Butler of Quarryville, and Sandy (Steve) Wilson of Peach Bottom.
Funeral services will be held at Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 11:00AM.Interment will follow in Conestoga Memorial Park.Viewings will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:30PM -8:00PM and again in Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.Kindly omit flowers.Contributions may be made in Charles' memory to Hospice & Community Care, P.O.
