Carolyn Biscardi

Carolyn Biscardi, age 75 of New Providence and formerly of Long Island, NY, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023 at the Lancaster General Hospital.  She was the loving wife of Augie Biscardi for 55 years.  Born in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Levina Roberts Popiel.  Carolyn served as the past president of the Friends of the Quarryville Library and the secretary for the Pequea Watershed Association.  In her free time, she loved baking, fishing, and caring for her 2 miniature horses, goats, chickens and dogs.  Surviving besides her husband Augie are 2 children; Marie Biscardi of Virginia Beach, VA, and Frank, husband of Kelli Biscardi of Brooklyn, NY, a brother, David Popiel and sister-in-law, Marie Popiel of Coram, NY, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A social gathering will be held at Reynolds & Shivery Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, on Friday, December 22nd from 2 to 4 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Carolyn's honor to the Pennsylvania SPCA, 350 East Erie Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19134.
