Carol A. Nicklaus, age 76 of Ronks, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025. She was the companion of Dewey Null. She was born in Paradise, daughter of the late Melvin E. And Thelma Davis Simpson. Carol worked at Armstrong for 17 years and in the past served as the Paradise Township Supervisor and as Zoning Officer. She was a Millersville University, Cum Laude graduate class of 1986. She enjoyed playing pinochle, riding horses and sailing. Carol was a "unique" and giving friend! She was surrounded by several circles of loving, "adopted families" that called her friend for well over 45 years dating back to softball days at "Farnum Field." She also played baseball and on the field hockey team in 1978. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Nicklaus, and 2 siblings: Melvin "Chip" Simpson and Judith McComsey.

Services will take place at the convenience of the family. Burial took place in Paradise Presbyterian Cemetery.
