Carl J. Vaughan

Carl J. Vaughan Sr., 79, of Nottingham PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019.He was the husband of Elsie Rupert Vaughan.They had celebrated 59 years of marriage.
Carl was a retired truck driver.He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid hot rod enthusiast.He also enjoyed being an Amish taxi driver.Spending time with his family was very important to him.Carl was also a member of Elkton Moose Lodge # 851.
Born in West Grove PA, he was a son of the late Charles D. and Rose Edwards Vaughan.
He is survived by his wife Elsie, 2 children, Deborah Sturgill, Nottingham,Carl Joe (Gaye) Vaughan, Jr., Nottingham, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Edward Vaughan, Eugene Vaughan, Tom Vaughan, and Alice Cullimore. He was preceded in death by a brother Dean Vaughan.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Reynolds Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA with pastor Jim Roland officiating.Viewings will be held Monday from 6-8:00 PM., and Tuesday from 10-11 AM.Interment will be in Union Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Carl Vaughan Car Fund.
