Carl A. Meshey, Jr, 92, of Lancaster and formerly of Paradise went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Homestead Village.  Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Carl A. and Christianna Groff Meshey, Sr.  Carl was the husband of the late Donna M. Shirk Meshey who died January 16, 2023.

He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, a 50 year+ member of Buck Hollow Hunting Camp in Sullivan County, and a 50 year+ member of Christiana Lodge #417 F&AM. He was an avid fan of auto racing and an avid golfer, being a member of Meadia Heights Golf Club. In addition to playing golf, Carl enjoyed managing his sons' baseball teams, teaching Sunday school, playing cards and visiting with his family.

A proud veteran, he served as a Corporal in the US Army during the Korean War.

Carl had been the sales manager for Shirk Chevrolet in Paradise and served as a Paradise Township Supervisor and Road Master.

Surviving Carl are two sons, Jeff (Debbie) Meshey of Phoenix, AZ and Doug Meshey of Manheim; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Marouane) Bennour, Sarah McCoy-Meshey, Grace Meshey, and Faith Meshey; a great grandson Noah Bennour; two siblings, Dave Meshey and Christie St. John.

He was preceded in death by four siblings, Gerald Meshey, Margaret Kreider, James Meshey and Paul Meshey.

Funeral services will be held at Shivery Funeral Home, 3214 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, PA on Friday, August 8, 2025 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Greg Funk officiating.  Interment will follow in Paradise Mennonite Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 1:00PM until the time of service.  Kindly omit flowers. Contributions may be made in Carl's memory to Christ's Home, 3182 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, PA 17562.
