C. Dale Phillips

C. Dale Phillips, 71 of Lamparter Road, Quarryville, PA passed away at Lancaster General Hospital on Monday, December 4, 2017.He and his wife Rose M. Flaud Phillips celebrated 44 years of marriage.Born in Bart Township, he was the son of the late Burris Z. and Esther A. Stuart Phillips.
He was employed as a machine operator by Lapp Lumber for over 50 years.
Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tinkering with things, as he was able to fix most anything.Most of all he enjoyed his family and grandchildren.
Surviving beside his wife Rose are 4 children, John D. (Deanna) Flaud of Holtwood, Dale C. Phillips, Jr. of Quarryville, Lisa Fryberger of Willow Street, Melissa Phillips of Willow Street; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 4 siblings, Franklin Phillips, Elmer Phillips, Sherwood Phillips and Barbara Fisher.
He was preceded in death by 7 siblings, Thomas Phillips, Gwen Phillips, Stuart Phillips, Truby Phillips, Robert Phillips, William Phillips, and T.J. Phillips.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017, 11:00 A.M.at Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church, 1199 Valley Road, Quarryville, PA with Rev. Douglas Hileman officiating.Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.Viewings will be held on Thursday evening at Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA from 6:00-8:00PM and again at the church on Friday from 10-11:00 AM.
