Bruce G. Groff

Bruce G. Groff, 71, of Conestoga, PA, passed away following a battle with cancer, Saturday, January 17, 2015.
Bruce had worked as an engineering technician for Case New Holland, retiring after 40 years of service.
He had served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
An avid sportsman enjoying hunting and fishing, he was a member of the Union County Sportsman Club and the Octoraro Hunt Club, Centre County.Bruce was a member of the Slumbering Groundhog Lodge, Quarryville.He was an avid supporter of F.O.P.
Bruce was born in Lancaster, PA, a son of the late John J. and Francis Graybill Groff.
He is survived by a son, Ryan E. Groff, married to Denean, Strasburg, PA, 3 grandsons; Austin C., Jack R. and Sam E Groff, 2 sisters; Fran G. Fyffe, Newport Beach, CA,,Margaret G. Todd, Mt Joy.Bruce was previously married to Joan Kauffman Groff for 50 years. Bruce was predeceased by 2 brothers; Jack J. Groff, and Dennis C. Groff.
Funeral services will be held, at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Reynolds Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA, with Dr. Michael Wilson officiating. Visitations will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 P.M. and Thursday from 9:30-10:00 A.M.Burial will be in Quarryville Cemetery.
