Bruce R. Edwards

Bruce R. Edwards, 74, formerly of Boothwyn, PA passed away peacefully at his residence in Quarryville, PA. He and his wife Carol A. Fetterhoff Edwards celebrated 47 years of marriage.  Born in Chester, PA he was the son of the late Warren D. and Florence Lillian Justison Edwards.

Bruce retired from Kimberly Clark in Chester where he was employed as a machine tender after 35 years of service. He also was a school bus driver for Chichester School District for many years before driving for Solanco School District, retiring in 2016.

He served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War from 1964-1967.

Bruce's hobbies and enjoyments were varied.  He enjoyed Lionel trains, buying and selling on E-Bay; and hunting both big and small game. He also volunteered as a little league coach. His biggest enjoyment was spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving beside his wife Carol are 3 sons, Bruce (Jenny) Edwards, Jr., David (Eileen) Edwards, Scott (Kelly) Edwards; 4 grandchildren, Ava, Zachary, Dylan, Zoey; a sister Bonnie Smith; and a brother Warren Edwards, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at Reynolds and Shivery Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 11:00AM with Pastor R. Blake Deibler officiating.  A viewing will be held from 10:00AM until the time of service.  Interment will follow at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA with a graveside service scheduled at 2:00PM.
