Brian L. Zug

Brian L. Zug, 39, of Peach Bottom, PA, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014, following complications from heart surgery.He was the son of Edward L. and Debra Pearson Zug of Peach Bottom, PA.
Brian was a dairy farmer. He was a member of Solanco Young Farmers, and had served on the Lancaster County Extension Board, and the dairy committee for the Solanco Fair.Brian had also coached Solanco FFA dairy judging.He was a 1992 graduate of Solanco High School, and earned an Associate's degree from State University of New York, Alfred campus.
He was a member of Mechanic Grove Mennonite Church, Quarryville.
In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by 2 sisters, twin sister Emily Zug, Peach Bottom, PA, Irene Weyman and husband Scott of Quarryville, PA, 2 nephews, 2 nieces, and his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Zug, Peach Bottom, PA.
The Funeral Service will be held at Mechanic Grove Mennonite Church, Center Road, Quarryville, PA on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 11:00 A.M.with Wayne Kreider and Jay Ranck officiating.The burial will be in Mechanic Grove Mennonite Cemetery. Visitations will be held at Mechanic Grove Mennonite Church on Monday from 7:00-9:00 PM and on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 AM.
