William Bradley “Brad” Strubel, age 57, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026. Born in Coatesville on August 21, 1968, he was the son of Beverly Cheek Strubel and the late Lloyd D. Strubel. Brad was a co-owner of 9 to 5 Delivery Service and was the well-known owner of WBS Transport and Brad’s Cab of Lancaster. He was a 1986 graduate of Solanco High School, where he played football and wrestled.
Brad loved life and being involved in many activities, but his passion was wrestling. He was an assistant coach at Pequea Valley, Lampeter-Strasburg, Solanco, and many gyms throughout the area. He enjoyed the challenge of teaching students to understand and love wrestling. In 2001, he became a referee, a role of which he was very proud. He also belonged to the Red Rose Rugby team, enjoyed playing golf, and sponsored benefits for wrestling.
Brad had a memorable personality. He was always kind and generous to whomever he met. He always had a smile on his face, along with a funny comment, whenever you ran into him.
He is survived by three children: Tara L. Strubel, age 35, of Lancaster; Toria V. Strubel, age 33, of New Providence; and Sianna R. Goldberg, age 20, of New Jersey; two grandchildren: Kayli L. Cornett, age 15, and Tamsyn Miller, age 6; and two brothers: Leslie D. Strubel of Williamsburg and Kevin S., husband of Teresa Stanek Strubel, of Lancaster.
A memorial service will take place at Keystone Church, 6 Pequea Dr., Paradise, PA 17562, on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 11 a.m. Pastor Blake Deibler will be officiating. There will be a time to greet the family immediately following the service.
