Bonnie L. Summers

Bonnie L. Summers, age 71 of Lancaster, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at her home.  She was the loving wife Benjamin L. Summers for 51 years.  Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late George Frank Gregg and Nancy Sweigart Rosenberry.  She worked as a seamstress for T&K.  She was a life member of the Pequea Valley Fire Department Kinzer Station 405 Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the PA Traveling Dutchman Club P939 and served as the past president for the Pequea Valley Jr. Chamber of Commerce.  In her free time, Bonnie loved camping, collecting McDonalds toys and watching British sitcoms.  Surviving in addition to her husband are 2 sons; George Summers, Nicholas, husband of Jennifer Summers, both of Kinzers, 7 grandchildren, Cindy, Jeffery, Chelsea, Jasmin, Joshua, Jonathon, Grant, foster grandson Dexter, 2 brothers; Carlton, husband of Debra Bollinger Gregg of Paradise, David Gregg and her dog Tinkerbell.

The Summers family will be arranging a service at the Kinzers Fire Hall, 3521 Lincoln Highway East, Kinzers, on Sunday, February 23rd at 3 p.m. with a time to greet the family from 2 to 3 p.m.  Please dress casual.
