Betty J. Weaver, age 96 of Paradise, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at her home. She was the wife of the late Paul M. Weaver who passed August 29, 2021. She was born in Paradise, daughter of the late Ross Sr. and Elenora Groff Houck. She was one of the founding members of the former Strasburg Assembly of God Church where she served as Church Secretary and the Nursery Coordinator. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and spending time with all her family. She is survived by a daughter, Linda S. wife of Duffield Summers, Sr. of Gordonville, 3 grandchildren: Duffield Jr. husband of Tracy Swinehart Summers of Lancaster, Heather wife of Michael Ditzler of Leola, Kristy wife of Chad Zimmerman of Laurel, DE, 7 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, and a brother, Ross husband of Jean Myers Houck of Gap. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Walter, Clyde, Carl, and Ray Houck late husband of Mary Rice Houck Brown of Manheim.

Funeral service will take place from the former Strasburg Assembly of God Church, 211 Gap Road, Strasburg, PA on Saturday, August 30th at 11 a.m. with a viewing from 10-11am. Pastor Mark J. Thiboldeaux, Sr. will be officiating. Interment will be in the Georgetown United Methodist Cemetery.
