Betty Fryberger

Betty Fryberger, age 77 of Dusk Street, Quarryville Pa, passed away at her home on May 19th, 2020. She was born in Lampeter Strasburg on August 20th, 1943. Betty was born into a large family as her late mother and father, Harrison and Daisy Henry had eight other children. She was a 1961 graduate of Solanco High School. She lived in Quarryville Pa for the entirety of her life. She was first married to the late Leroy Bleecher and her second marriage was to the late Kenneth "Jake" Fryberger. Betty was preceded in death by four siblings; Richard, Harrison, Kenneth and Roy. She was survived by four siblings; Ruth, Gloria, Ron and Glenn. She is also survived by her two children; Pamela Hildebrand and Larry Bleecher, her grandchild Kristin, and her great grandchildren; Kiana, Applise, and Jedidiah. Betty loved to cook, go thrift shopping, bird watch, plant flowers and spend quality time with family and friends. She appreciated the beauty of nature and music. She was a jokester but also compassionate. She was opinionated but also a good listener. She was a bright light who made everyone smile. And she was so deeply loved by her family and friends. Through her passing, her memory will live on as she has touched the hearts of many.  A private viewing will take place at the convenience of the family with inurnment in the Strasburg Cemetery.
