Benjamin Lee
Beiler
July 31, 1966 – August 2, 2025
Benjamin Lee Beiler was born July 31, 1966 at New Holland, to Abram and Katie [King] Beiler. The last number of years it became apparent his health was slowly declining as a degenerative muscle disease was taking its toll. He peacefully passed away August 2, 2025, reaching the age of 59.
Ben grew up and lived in Pennsylvania until in 1987 when he moved with his family to Indiana. After living there for a few years, he lived at various locations including Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma before returning to Gap, in 2020, where he lived until just prior to his death.
Ben had a quiet, sensitive nature. He enjoyed visiting with anyone who had a listening ear. He enjoyed nature and gardening, including a love for flowers and beekeeping, along with his fruits and vegetables. His family, and especially his nieces and nephews, were special to him. He often remembered us on special occasions with a card or a generous gift. His fun loving disposition formed some close friendships, among them were those who fondly called him "Uncle Ben".
Upon conversion and confession of faith Ben was baptized into the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, at Mifflinburg, on January 17, 1982. In later years he attended the Summitview Mennonite Church, of New Holland. Life for our brother wasn't always easy and we as his family are deeply grateful to those who shared in his care during the last several years.
Left with many memories are his siblings: Wilma and Tom Bender, Colony, OK; Lester and Noreen Beiler, Atwood, IL; Rhoda Beiler, Soap Lake, WA; Robert Beiler, Divide, CO; Ralph and Sarann Beiler, Seymour, MO; Philip Beiler, Gap, 26 nieces and nephews, and 36 great nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were; his parents, a nephew, and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be held on August 11, 2025, at 10 a.m. the Summitview Mennonite Church, 144 Summitview Road, New Holland, PA. There will be a viewing at the church on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.
