Obituary

Benjamin L. Clark, age 80, formerly of Kinzer passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at Landis Homes. He was the husband of Mary Esther Hess Clark for 59 years. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late David and Esther Landis Clark. He was a member of Hershey Mennonite Church and a former member at Kinzer Mennonite Church where he served as a deacon for 35 years. He worked as a dairy farmer. After retiring from farming he worked as a self-employed handyman where he was able to help many people with their home improvement needs. He enjoyed playing card games, especially Rook. His favorite part about playing games was spending time with his family. He previously served as the president of Paradise Elementary PTO and did volunteer service in DC and NY from 1965 - 67. Surviving besides his wife are 4 daughters: Elizabeth, wife of Ming Yu of Atglen, Elaine, wife of Theodore Steinruck of Oley, Eunice, wife of Henry Hoff of Glenside and Evelyn, wife of Mathew Stephan of India, 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 3 siblings: Ruth Hershey of New Holland, Martha Clark of Lititz and Paul husband of Faye Clark of New Holland.

Funeral service will take place at Hershey Mennonite Church, 401 Hershey Church Rd Kinzers, PA 17535 on Saturday, Decemebr 7th at 11 a.m. with a time to greet the family from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Joe Lab will be officiating. A private burial will take place prior to the service.
