Barbara Ann Miller's Obituary
Barbara Ann Miller, 72, formerly of Evergreen Estates, Lancaster, PA died Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community.Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Amos N. and Catherine Leakway Miller.
She was a member of Mellinger Mennonite Church where she participated with the choir.
Barbara had been employed in several kitchens in local area restaurants.
She enjoyed doing craft work, playing games, playing the piano, and taking bus trips.
She is survived by three siblings, Alvin L. (Pauline Rhoads) Miller of Lancaster, Norma L. (Richard D.) Hess of Quarryville, Murray A. (Susan von der Luft) Miller of Strasburg.
Our family wishes to extend our gratitude to the entire staff at Evergreen Estates for the care they gave our sister over the past four years.
Funeral services will be held at Mellinger Mennonite Church, 1916 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at 7:30PM with Pastors Joe Miller and Leon H. Oberholtzer officiating.A viewing will be held at the church from 6:30PM until the time of service. Interment will be private in the adjoining church cemetery on Friday.Arrangements entrusted to Murray A.
