Barbara K. King

Barbara K. King, age 89 of 338 Buck Hill Road, Paradise, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at her home.  She was the wife of the late John B. King who passed away on June 23, 1991.  Born in Kirkwood, she was the daughter of the late Isaac B. and Mary King Zook.  Barbara was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  Surviving her are 14 children; Isaac J. husband of Arie S. Riehl King of Millersburg, Joseph B. husband of Annie S. Smucker King, Eli Z. husband of Martha Z. Beiler King, both of Paradise, Mary Z. wife of Eli E. Fisher of Christiana, Rachel Z. wife of David E. Blank of Paradise, Samuel Z. husband of Sylvia King King of Ronks and the late Rachel E. Fisher King, Sadie Z. wife of John A. Beiler, Lydia Z. wife of David S. King, Fannie Z. wife of John I. Fisher, all of Quarryville, Abner B. husband of Rachel Huyard King of Coatesville, John B. Jr. husband of Nancy S. Ebersol King of Williamsburg, Martha Z. wife of David Z. King of Loganton, Levi Z. husband of Mary Beiler King, Barbara Z. wife of Samuel K. Lapp, both of Strasburg, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, a sister; Fannie Stoltzfus of Quarryville and 2 sister-in-laws; Sadie Zook of Gap and Barbara Zook of Christiana.  She was preceded in death by and infant son, Elmer Z. King, a stillborn daughter, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and 8 siblings.  Funeral service will take place at the late home, 338 Buck Hill Road, Paradise, TODAY, April 1st at 9 a.m. EST.  Interment will be in the Bart Amish Cemetery.  shiveryfuneralhome.com
