Barbara T. Beers

Barbara Troxell Beers, 81, of Quarryville, PA wife of John W. Beers, Jr. passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at her home at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community.Prior to moving to Quarryville, Barbara and John resided in Malvern, PA.
Born in Ridley Park, she was the daughter of the late Clarence N. and Margaret L. (Worthington) Troxell.
Barbara was a former member of St. Peters Church in the Great Valley.In her working life she worked in the computer industry for Memorex and IS&S in control of their computer parts inventory.
Barbara enjoyed collecting figurines and bear themed keepsakes.
Surviving her in addition to her husband are 2 sons, John W. Beers, III and wife Christine of Quarryville, Jeffrey C. Beers and girlfriend Barbara Bitts of Conestoga; and 2 grandsons, John W. Beers, IV (Wes) of Philadelphia, and Garrett H. Beers of Atlanta.
Funeral services will be held at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community, Ellingsworth Auditorium, 625 Robert Fulton Highway, Quarryville, PA on Friday, Oct. 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM. A visitation will be held from 9:30AM until the time of service. Interment will follow in Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall, PA.
