Arlington J. "Art" Weitzel, age 82 of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024 at the Lancaster General Hospital.  He was the husband of the late Martha C. Greer Weitzel who passed away on November 23, 2024.  Born in Denver, PA, he was the son of the late Arlington and Mary Harding Weitzel.  He worked as a welder for Sperry New Holland, now Ford New Holland, Inc. Art was a sports enthusiast and he loved all things outdoors including hunting, fishing, hiking and going to the mountains.  He was known for always keeping his car clean.  Surviving are 4 sons; Lynn, husband of Brenda Weitzel of East Earl, Eric, husband of Michelle Weitzel of Reinholds, Daryl Weitzel of Shillington, PA, Travis, husband of Violet Weitzel of Lititz, 3 step-children; Bonnie, wife of Tom Brackbill of Paradise, Harvey Jr., husband of Sue Greer of New Castle, DE, Marsha, wife of Gene Zellman of Lancaster, 7 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 11 step great-grandchildren and a brother; Terry husband of Myrna Weitzel of Brownstown.
